OUR STORY
Rochester African American Firearms Association began in 2019 as a just and idea between our two founders Paul Adell Jr and Micheal Nix. These two men being firearms enthusiast, and seeing a need for black citizens in their community to protect themselves, decided it would be a good idea to form a Brother & Sister hood of other gun owners in the Rochester area.

Since then RAAFA has grown and received overwhelming interest and response from the community. Currently making it the largest and only organization of it kind exclusive to African Americans in the upstate New York Area. Today the RAAFA provides training, education and resources all over the community.

It Is Our Fundamental Belief That The Duty Of The People Is To Arm And Educate Them Selves In Order To Protect And Defend Themselves.
